The RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) model, also known as the OPEX model, is a “Pay-as-you-go” solar solution. We own, install, and maintain the solar plant on your roof, while you only pay for the units of electricity generated—at a rate significantly lower than your current DISCOM tariff.

Answer : Under the RESCO model, the developer (us) owns, installs, and maintains the system. You simply provide the roof space and purchase the generated power.
Q: How long is the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)?
Answer : Typically, PPAs range from 15 to 25 years. At the end of the tenure, the ownership of the entire solar plant is usually transferred to you at no additional cost.
Q: What happens if it’s a cloudy day?
Answer : The system remains “Grid-Connected.” If the solar panels produce less energy due to weather, your building automatically draws power from the DISCOM grid, ensuring zero interruption.
Q: Is there any hidden cost for maintenance?
Answer : None. We are incentivized to keep the plant at peak performance because we only earn when the plant generates units. Cleaning, repairs, and insurance are all on us.
